About the role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will work collaboratively with both HR and Finance to provide support, administration and coordination across the entire employee lifecycle.
As the HR & Payroll Officer your key responsibilities include:
- HRIS Administration
- Weekly processing of Payroll, including auditing time and attendance records
- Compliance, including Superannuation and Payroll Tax
- Recruitment and Employee onboarding
- Ad hoc employee queries
About you
- Energy and passion for driving a positive culture
- Excellent customer service as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment
- Confident communicator with the talent to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Payroll experience within a similar environment would be a definite advantage
- Working knowledge of Tanda preferred, but not necessary
- A university degree or high level qualification in Human Resources, Finance or related discipline will be highly regarded
