IMAX Melbourne is looking for enthusiastic and motivated new team members to help deliver an exceptional customer service experience to our guests from the moment they arrive, throughout the film, and beyond.

IMAX Melbourne delivers the ultimate movie-going experience on the world's best biggest screen, spanning 32 metres wide x 23 metres high. Combined with a set of revolutionary projection systems, customised theatre geometry and 15,000 watts of digital surround sound. Located at the Melbourne Museum Precinct on Rathdowne Street, Carlton.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The IMAX Front of House position is all about delivering exceptional customer service with energy and enthusiasm. This role also involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and site presentation.
Some of the key duties include:
- Deliver outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism at every stage of guest experience.
- Perform a variety of front-of-house duties, including box office operations, candy bar service, and ushering.
- Perform basic computer tasks, including ticket sales and cash register operation.
- Apply up-selling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
- Take an active role in maintaining a clean and welcoming venue through regular cleaning.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work effectively either as part of a team or individually.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, supportive, and fun team environment.
- Remain calm under pressure and consistently maintain a high level of productivity
- Comply with Museums Victoria's policies and procedures and with relevant legislation and regulations.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service including clear and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and use initiative when required.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and work effectively in a high-pressure.
- Flexible availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the business.
- Demonstrated sales and cash handling skills.
- The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check, Working with Children Check and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
OTHER INFORMATION
This role is a casual position with an hourly rate of $00.00 (inclusive of casual loading). To be considered applicants must have flexible availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
