SASMAR is seeking an experienced Information Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are a leading pharmaceutical company that specializes in innovative personal care and fertility products, notably our well-known Conceive Plus brand. Our products are distributed in over 70 countries through various distribution channels, including supermarkets, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and drugstores.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our information systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our operational efficiency and enhancing our technological capabilities to better serve our customers.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization’s information systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Support and troubleshoot end-user issues related to software applications and hardware.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify technology needs and develop solutions that enhance operational performance.
- Implement system upgrades and enhancements, as well as manage system documentation.
- Provide training and support to staff on software applications and information system processes.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in information systems management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and software applications.
- Experience with system integration and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- Certifications in IT or related areas (such as ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft) are a plus.
- Legally able to work in Malta
- This position has an immediate start. No work permit - applicants must have European citizenship or have long term residency.
