About the Role
Swinburne is seeking an Intranet Experience Lead to help deliver a next-generation intranet that supports collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing across the university.
In this role, you will lead content auditing, governance, content management, and technical integration for Swinburne’s intranet platform. You’ll work closely with IT, the intranet project team, and stakeholders across the university to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform while maintaining alignment with university standards.

Reporting to the Manager, Employee Communications, you will drive engagement, identify training needs, and help embed long-term best practices to support the ongoing success of Swinburne’s internal communications platforms, including the intranet and Microsoft Viva.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a strong digital marketing background to provide a positive user experience for our internal stakeholders. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension based on project requirements.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing content within intranet or digital platforms
  • Experience in content auditing, governance, and migration projects, ideally within a large or complex organisation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and rectify content issues

Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in communications, information management, digital content, or a related field
