About the role
As an IT Auditor, you will be part of a professional and dynamic team and will work closely with the Principal Auditor and Manager – Technology Audit, as well as other members of the Group Internal Audit team and business stakeholders. This role will primarily be focused on technology audits, but you will have the opportunity to use your experience to add value in operational and project audits as well.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in all stages of audits (from planning to reporting)
- Evaluate the effectiveness of technology and business controls.
- Identify and document potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Lead follow-up and verification activities related to open audit action plans and the closure of audit findings.
About you
You will have a good understanding of internal audit principles and/or experience in risk-based assurance, with experience in internal or external audit. Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and good time management is essential in this role.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT auditing, risk assessment, or information security review.
- Proven ability to conduct audits across infrastructure, applications, databases, and cloud environments.
- Experience evaluating internal controls, identifying gaps, and recommending remediation strategies (including conducting of IT General Control testing).
- Good stakeholder engagement across various level of the organisation.
- Working knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance Frameworks for example NIST, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, SOX
- Currently studying towards relevant certifications including CISA, CIA, CPA, CRISC and CISM (is highly desirable).
