Position Summary
Position Title: Sandwich Artist™
Reports To: Store Manager
Role Overview
A Sandwich Artist™ serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY® brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.
Key Challenges
- Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner
- Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits
- Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met
- Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner
Key Accountabilities
Store Merchandising
- Receive deliveries and check in stock
- Daily bread counts
- Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
Food Safety
- Comply with Food Code of Practice
- Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and
- Carry out temperature checks and record as per
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per
Occupational Health & Safety
- Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
- Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers
Personal Qualities
- Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY® and customer expectations
- Work as a team member
- Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY® Manager
Security & Loss Prevention
- Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store
- Follow company security procedures
- Secure cash and stock from loss or theft
Job Types: Casual, Temp to perm
Pay: $13.28 – $35.85 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 25 per week
