Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Chinese noodle dishes according to our recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and marinating meats.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace at all times.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory and report any shortages to the manager.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.
- Multi Task Ability to perform in rush hours.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary setting, preferably with Chinese and Asian cuisine.
- Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Strong teamwork ability and a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items .
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Enthusiasm for traditional Chinese noodles and a willingness to learn.
- Have basic understanding of Asian Food Taste
