What You’ll Be Doing
This position will be responsible for supervising the rubber mixing process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the rubber mixing team
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies
- Monitor and optimize the mixing process to achieve high-quality rubber compounds
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products
- 3-5 years rubber mixing or compounding
- 5 years’ experience working in a medium-to-large heavy industrial engineering manufacturing operation
- 3 years’ experience supervising and leading work teams and training and development
- 3 years’ experience working with the following systems and methodologies; Quality, Continuous improvement & Safety
- Ideally hold a Certificate IV or diploma level qualification specialising in either manufacturing, engineering or material science
- Certificate IV Front Line Management
- Hold full working rights in Australia
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
