In this role, you'll:
Working within our People & Culture division at Sydney Trains, the primary purpose of our Knowledge Worker role is to help contribute to the delivery of high-quality bespoke workshops and events: preparing workshops, designing and creation of the Customer Central workshop environment, supporting the requirements on the day and producing materials and reports after the event.
The Knowledge Worker is an active and dynamic role in a fast-paced environment.
The Knowledge Worker contributes to the overall success of the team's functions.
You will support the Facilitation Team in event design, delivery of the sessions and capture of the workshop outputs.
You will be an integral part of the design and creation of the workshop environment that best supports the success of each individual event.
About you
You will be managing the event elements (examples: space design, graphics, note-taking, graphic scribing, photography, videography, graphics, managing audio-visual equipment and knowledge inputs) throughout the delivery of the event including response to design changes as they occur.
You will also be taking the lead role in designing and refreshing the Customer Central space to create an environment that inspires collaboration, different thinking and ways of working.
You will take ownership of assisting with the development and maintenance of communication materials to provide effective promotion of Customer Central.
To be successful in this role you are a customer focused individual with great communication skills and will have had previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a government organisation.
This is a fast-paced role with changing priorities which means the successful candidate will need to be highly organised, reliable and flexible.
You will have the ability to manage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and have previous experience and proficiency in MS Office suite of products - Word, Excel & PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and Adobe products.
Knowledge of and experience in the MG Taylor methodology (or similar methodologies) is highly desirable.
You will mostly work at the Customer Central Collaboration Hub in our Haymarket location, with some hybrid options when possible.
