Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services is a family-owned Commercial Laundry in Silverwater. Our continued growth means we are seeking an additional staff member to commence immediately to work in our small, friendly team environment.
Previous experience in a Commercial Laundry is an advantage, but not necessary. Training will be provided.
The role involves operating Laundry machinery - washers, dryers and associated laundry equipment - receiving, sorting and dispatching laundry plus learning the procedures of our Commercial laundry.
Early start and early finish: Availability to commence early morning is required - 5am start
Ability to drive vans required for this position, as the successful candidate will be required to make some deliveries.
Requirements:
Must be physically fit and able to work on your feet for a full shift as this is an active, physical role that involves physical, repetitive movements.
We require a keen, reliable, self motivated person who enjoys working in a small team.
Accuracy, ability to follow instructions and good attention to detail is required.
The successful applicant must be available to commence at 5am and is required to have their own transport to get to and from work.
Please note: The successful Applicant will need to meet the following criteria for this position:
- Available to work Full time Monday to Friday from 5am and not studying.
- Reside in NSW.
- Wanting a career in a small, family business.
What we require:
- Successful candidate must be able to work Full time Monday to Friday and available to commence work at 5am
- Must be available to work overtime and/or weekends, if required
- Willing to learn the procedures of the Commercial Laundry processes
- Lift, reach, stretch and lift heavy loads on a daily basis
- Being Physically fit is required for this position
