We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to Associate to join our Specialty Lines team in Brisbane working with Kiley Hodges.
About the team and the work
- The practice has a strong blue-chip client base with a particular focus on large and more complex litigated claims. The team manages a broad range of matters including construction, property damage, D&O, policy coverage, professional indemnity, complex personal injury claims, front-end contract negotiation and corporate risk management advice.
- Clients include national and global insurers, Lloyd’s syndicates, underwriting agencies, brokers, TPA’s, publicly listed companies and private companies.
- This is a varied and flexible practice where you will be able to work to your strengths and on the types of matters that challenge you.
- The team promote flexibility and are open to candidates who want to work flexibly in their next role.

About you
- You will ideally have at between 1 – 5 years' experience from a well-regarded law firm with experience in dispute resolution.
- To be successful you will need excellent attention to detail, strong written and negotiation skills and excellent organisational ability.
- This is a genuine opportunity to move from a smaller defendant or plaintiff firm to a national mid-tier firm with modern systems and a focus on your development.
