About the Role
Busy Bees at Glenroy is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our buzzing Hive! With capacity for up to 75 children, our service offers a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where children and educators thrive.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the room’s daily operations and ensure a consistent, nurturing environment
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs aligned with the EYLF
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families
- Mentor and support educators within your room
- Monitor compliance, safety, and wellbeing in collaboration with the leadership team
- Participate in regular reflections and documentation of children’s learning
What You’ll Need
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and developmental milestones
- Experience in leading a room or mentoring educators
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee – VIC)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
