The role will provide specialist advice, mentorship, and hands-on support to Health Infrastructure project teams, Local Health Districts (LHDs), and other NSW Health entities. The focus for this role will be on enabling clinical and non-clinical transformation through the capital investment, ensuring that new facilities and their people are operationally ready to achieve a timely and effective transition of services on Day 1 to the new facility.
There will be two (2) fulltime ongoing positions and two (2) 2 year fulltime fixed term positions available. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in the delivery of change management and hospital operational commissioning activities across a variety of hospital redevelopments. Your detail-oriented approach and stakeholder management skills will support you to work independently and collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams and you’ll work collaboratively with Local Health Districts and HI project teams to ensure new facilities are operationally ready from Day 1. If you’re a confident communicator, a trusted advisor, and thrive in high-pressure settings, we invite you to bring your leadership to this impactful role.
