About the team

 

The Coles Own Brand Sustainable Sourcing plays a critical role in driving responsible sourcing standards to help mitigate potential environmental impacts across Coles Own Brand products to provide leading food, drink and home solutions that are delicious, sustainable and healthy for our customers. 

 

You’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets. Our team is passionate about leveraging our deep supplier relationships to drive material positive impact.

About the role

 

As the Lead Sustainable Sourcing Manager – Seafood you’ll work closely with and report into the Group Responsible Sourcing Manager to help deliver our Own Brand Responsible Sourcing strategy, leading  the execution of the responsibly sourced seafood strategy for Coles Own Brand.

 

Additionally, you’ll develop a vision for sustainable seafood systems of the future at Coles with a key focus on building resilient supply chains.

About you and your skills

 

The ideal candidate holds 5-10 years sustainability industry experience and is skilled at building strong supplier partnerships and driving governance programs that ensure responsible, transparent sourcing. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of seafood sustainability risks including biodiversity, climate and regulatory risks.
