All about the role:

As Logistics Analyst you will be responsible for logistics planning including the preparation and review of stock reports, weekly review and analyzing of component requirements, the review of order status, the monitoring of goods receiving as well as the managing of direct to site suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of material internal and external for Dudley Park manufacturing operations. Your objective will be to ensure high levels of customer service ensuring Electrolux meets its financial goals through scheduling and delivery of materials on time to production. You will be part of various functions within the logistics team that may involve Kanban scheduling, electronic ordering, scheduling, shortage reporting and follow up.

What you’ll do:

Carefully planning and running the logistics schedules as part of a close-knit team, you will also balance the needs of stakeholders and colleagues across all functions to ensure the efficient transportation of products. It’s a dynamic, responsible role that requires a flexible approach to changing priorities, delivering solutions and looking ahead to see how we can deliver even better for our customers. You will have an up-to-date view of production and material in transit as well as business strategic priorities to ensure financial goals are met. You will work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering and various people within Electrolux and external suppliers. Your day may include:

  • Prepare and review low stock reports

  • Create, review and analyze component requirements

  • Monitor goods receiving

  • Manage Direct to Site suppliers

  • Follow through urgent order from point of dispatch to line side delivery

  • Monitor stock and correct stock discrepancies

  • Maintain record of supplier decks and maintain supplier deck details

  • Maintain accurate Logistics Lead times within the corporate database

  • Prepare stock reports

  • Report on shortages to the factory through the daily components meeting

Who you are:

  • You work efficiently and maintain a positive outlook while under pressure and able to manage levels of setbacks, criticism and tension

  • You build trust, good working relationships and communicate effectively with your colleagues and across functions

  • You explore new ideas and drive continuous improvement, not only to do your best work but to develop your own capabilities

  • You keep the consumer and customer front of mind, bringing an outside-in perspective to encourage cross-collaboration, utilizing diversity and encouraging open feedback

  • Good working knowledge of global shipping practices

  • Experience in a global project involving multiple stakeholders including suppliers, freight forwarders via web-based applications

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Good planning and organizational skills

  • Tertiary qualification in logistics, material planning or similar discipline

  • Computer skills with high competence level in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (Query/Macros), Power BI, Word, Access etc.

Where you’ll be:

You will be based at Adelaide, Australia, Dudley Park Plant. It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling.
