Logistics Officer – Newcastle, NSW (full-time role)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, and resources to ensure efficient and timely delivery across our operations. You will play a key role in optimizing supply chain processes and maintaining high standards of accuracy and service
Working days and hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and logistics activities.
- Identify and resolve logistical issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in logistics, business, or supply chain management are preferred.
- Drivers License is essential and must provide a copy of RTA driving record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Forklift license would be preferred
