ATEX Supplies is a supplier of Steel Reinforcement across Sydney, Wollongong and Newcastle. We are currently searching for an experienced Machine Operator to join our warehouse team.

This is a casual position with the intention to go full-time working Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday.
As a member of our team, our machine operator will be responsible for:
- Operate machinery in line with production schedules
- Conduct regular quality and compliance checks
- Assist with the teamwork flow and production output
- Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure that production, quality and safety is streamlined and adhered to
- Required to use the overhead gantry crane
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
- Pick orders, bundle steel and tag orders
- Perform general tasks in the warehouse
- Use of forklift (if licenced)
About you we would like:
- At least 2 year's experience as a machine operator (similar industry beneficial)
- Experience operating MEP and Schnell machinery (advantageous)
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential)
- Great communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Able to start asap
