About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and well-organised Mailroom Officer to join our dedicated team based at John Hunter Hospital. This hands-on role is vital to the smooth operation of our mail services and involves both onsite and offsite responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, process, collect, and deliver mail and parcels efficiently and accurately
- Drive daily across a wide area covering Lake Macquarie and Newcastle to deliver mail to various health services
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff across all levels of the organisation
- Work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Manage workload effectively and adhere to delivery timelines
About You:- A current driver’s licence is essential
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- A responsible and proactive approach to work
- Experience in mailroom or logistics roles (desirable, but not essential
