We're looking for a high-impact Manager Internal Communications to build scalable, repeatable communication approached with strong collaboration to enable internal communications that connects our people to our purpose.
As the Manager of Internal Communications, you’ll lead a small team responsible for shaping and delivering engaging internal communication strategies that support WorkCover’s strategic priorities. This is a highly collaborative role, where you’ll work directly with senior leaders and frontline teams alike and be the bridge between leadership and our people, ensuring consistent, clear, and meaningful communication that fosters connection, engagement, and a strong organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead internal communication strategies that align with organisational goals and drive employee engagement.

Provide high-level strategic communication support to the CEO and executive team.

Coach and lead a small team of professionals to deliver best-in-class communication solutions.

Oversee internal channels such as intranet, newsletters, and events, ensuring they support transparency and inclusion.

Create communication toolkits and support materials for leaders across the business.

Build trusted relationships across the business to ensure messaging is aligned, authentic and impactful.
A bit about you:
-
Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations or journalism.
-
5+ years’ experience in a senior internal communications role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills across a range of platforms and formats.

Strategic thinking with the ability to align communication to business priorities.
