About the role
As the Manager - Process, Change and Training, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Corporate Services Group.
You will oversee the strategic road mapping of V/Line’s Procurement processes and procedures, ensuring effective change management and continuous improvement within V/Line.
Key Accountabilities include:
Deployment & Implementation: Oversee and manage the deployment, implementation, and simplification of new procurement methodologies, frameworks, and processes to maximize adoption.
Engagement Strategies: Create and deliver strategies to drive and maintain adoption across procurement and business stakeholders.
Business Partnering: Collaborate with leaders to identify and address current and emerging improvement opportunities within procurement.
Quality & Assurance: Oversee procurement quality and assurance activities, ensuring management plans and strategies are in place for new projects and initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, conducting impact analysis and business readiness activities.
Change Management: Manage and engage a network of procurement system change champions to support and sponsor change within the business.
Content Governance: Oversee content governance for procurement processes, including procedures, quick reference guides, work instructions, intranet content, and content strategy and maintenance. Facilitate a subject matter expert network to ensure compliance and capability maturity.
About you
You are a change leader and senior professional with a strategic mindset, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and a proven ability to communicate effectively. You excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior business leaders.
Our ideal candidate will also possess the following:
Previous experience taking a team through transformation and capability uplift, coaching, and mentoring your direct reports.
A strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and applicable regulatory requirements will be viewed favourably.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage change effectively.
Successfully managed the deployment of practical processes and frameworks.
Demonstrated alignment to V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
