The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.
About the role
We are seeking a Media & Advertising Manager to support the strategic goals of The Smith Family by planning and overseeing the development and implementation of above-the-line media for the organisation’s fundraising and acquisition campaigns. Reporting to the National Manager, Campaigns and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:
- Develop annual media strategies that are integrated, audience focused and data informed, to deliver on acquisition and income targets
- Oversee the development of creative assets for campaigns, ensuring appropriate brand alignment and best practice fundraising principles
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and media agencies to develop media plans for all mass marketing acquisition campaigns to optimise cost effectiveness and reach
- Undertake regular reporting and analysis to identify and leverage opportunities and mitigate risks, making data informed recommendations for ongoing improvement
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- 3+ years’ experience managing multi-channel media campaigns
- Experience managing agencies to deliver on time and within budget
- Demonstrated experience applying analysis and data insights to deliver continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Highly numerate with a solid understanding of strategic targets, campaign results and ROI
