Qualifications & experience
- A compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent presentation, phone manner, communication and persuasion skills
- High computing skills are required
- Attention to detail and accurate administration skills
- Proven ability to prioritise and multitask in a very fast paced/dynamic environment calmly while maintaining excellent service and demeanour
- Confident in leading and managing customer flow
- Ability to work independently with autonomy as well as communicate well with a team
- Discretion in maintaining privacy
- More than 5 years experience in customer/client service and/or administration, in healthcare or other industries
- Candidates living locally will be prioritised
Tasks & responsibilities
As the face of the practice, you will hold an important position, demonstrating world class service from booking appointments on the telephone to directing patients appropriately. You will be liasing with doctors, nurses, patients, other healthcare professionals and many parties in performing administration duties which include among others, billings, payments and claims. Maintaining a highly professional environment as well as ensuring infection control standards are met, will ensure only the best can be expected from our practice.
Availability:
- Position 1: 20-30 hours suitable for permanent candidate, with option to work up to full time and develop skills. Experience and locally based preferred.
- Combination of morning shifts finishing 2pm and afternoon shifts finishing 7pm+
- Flexibility is required in rostering to fill in for holidays and busy times as the same will be afforded yourself by your team of 4-6 weeks per year or by prior arrangement
