Part Time – Medical Receptionist – Hoppers Crossing, Vic.
Are you an experienced medical receptionist looking for a change? Are you looking to join a supportive and professional team environment? Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a receptionist to join our family friendly, busy medical practice on a part-time basis.
About the Role:
You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and admin support to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities: (Not limited to)
- Greeting and checking in patients with warmth and efficiency
- Booking and managing appointments using Pracsoft and Medical Director
- Answering phone calls and handling patient inquiries
- Processing billing and Medicare claims
- Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
- Supporting our doctors and nursing staff
About You:
- Previous experience in a medical reception role (preferable)
- Proficient in Pracsoft and Medical Director software (preferable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a professional, caring, and patient-focused approach
