Golding are currently recruiting for a Mining Supervisor to join our team and drive safety and production. If you have experience, and a passion for leadership, operational efficiency and fostering a strong safety culture, this is your opportunity to join our Team.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Golding Safety and Health Management Systems.
- Supervise and mentor a 50~ person crew, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and performance.
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks, reinforcing key priorities in pre-start meetings.
- Provide technical guidance on truck and excavator operations to enhance team capabilities.
- Oversee task execution to ensure alignment with operational goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in the in a similar Supervisory role in a Open Cut mining environment
- Working knowledge of the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations and how they pertain to individual and supervisor obligations
- Operating skills on a wide range of Mining equipment
- Current Mining Supervisor G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3) and G2
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Current open drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
