Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking a passionate Disability Support Worker to join the team, located throughout Inner-City Melbourne.
- 52-year-old female participant.
- Richmond location.
- Monday(s) for three hours. Time to be confirmed, possibly flexible.
- Motor Neurone Disease (MND) experience preferred.
- Meal preparation experience highly advantageous.
- Tasks include: meal preparation, needs to change over time.
- Support requirements expected to increase over time.
- Possibility for additional work with other participants nearby.
We are looking for a competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Worker who possesses the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.
Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Approximately $123).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
- The right to work in Australia.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
