Introduction to the role:
We are seeking a Mould Builder to join our team and support factory production by efficiently carrying out assigned tasks, while ensuring that all targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.

Main Responsibilities:
- Adhere to WHS Policy and programs to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
- Adherence to Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Controls (HIRAC) and Safe Work Instructions (SWI)
- Ensure compliance to quality standards, policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures
- Participate in setting the standard of Good Manufacturing Practices and ensuring a safe work environment is always maintained.
- Actively participate in Production and Pre-start meetings.
- Accountable for adherence to our product Quality Control requirements (First part check) and ensure they are maintained for all production processes.
- Perform and maintain OEE system (Axxos coding)
- Able to work from technical drawings and instructions to complete allotted tasks.
- Undertake required equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions.
- Maintain accurate computer data/records/documentation associated with your work.
- Maintain tools and dies.
- Operate mobile load shifting equipment.
- Undertake manual handling.
- Use hand tools.
- Work with others in a manufacturing, engineering environment.
- Carry out mechanical cutting.
- Use comparison and basic measuring devices.
- Use power tools/handheld operations.
- Fabricate and assemble fabricated components.
- Interpret technical specifications and manuals .
- Perform computations.
- Perform precision assembly.
- Produce free hand sketches.
- Repair and fit engineering components.
- Report technical information.
- Shut down and isolate machines / equipment.
- Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques .
- Manufacture press tools and gauges.
- Perform operational and preventative maintenance of machines/equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting health, safety and environment.
- Relevant Technical Qualifications, including a Trade certificate, mechanical trade preferred.
- License to operate a forklift truck
- License to perform dogging
- Maintain tools and dies
- Operate mobile shifting equipment
- Perform operational and preventative maintenance of machines/equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and cooperative team attitude.
- Current motor vehicle licence.
- Ability to pass alcohol and other drug tests.
- Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Able to work a rolling 4-week shift structure of Day, Afternoon and Night Shift.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
