What you'll be doing
As the Executive Support Officer and administration leader you are expected to support Northern Beaches Community
Mental Health Service (NBCMHS) achieve the aims of strong corporate and clinical governance and safety
management system to establish and maintain a positive health and safety culture in the workplace and to consult
with workers and others when making decisions that may impact upon the health, safety and welfare of those in the
workplace.
The NBCMHS comprises of Community Mental Health Teams each working in a multidisciplinary team comprised of nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and psychiatrists. This ensures consumers and carers are offered a broad range of knowledge and experience in all aspects of adult mental health.
The Northern Beaches Community Mental Health Service (NBCMHS) aims to instil hope, promote well-being and support recovery in the lives of adults living in the Northern Beaches area who are affected by severe and enduring mental illness. We provide an assertive and intensive care coordinated service focused on the individual needs of each consumer. The NBCMHS aims to make a positive difference in the lives of those with whom we work.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Extensive experience in the provision of high level administrative tasks at an Executive level with a proven ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to analyse, assess, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, as well as taking the initiative and responsibility for quality completion of tasks
Proven high level ability in interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills, including superior formal written expression skills, advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and experience [or willingness to be trained in] in the information systems utilised within NSLHD e.g. Health Roster, Stafflink, ROB, RISKIT and Oracle.
Experience and skills in providing professional and administrative leadership and direction in relation to the administration processes, workloads, learning and development of administrative and secretariat staff including the ability to provide leadership skills in conflict resolution and team building.
