SASMAR is excited to announce an opening for an Office Manager to lead and optimize our administrative functions within our Malta office. In the position of Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, ensuring that administrative tasks are executed smoothly, and creating an efficient work environment. Your leadership skills will play a crucial role in managing a team of administrative professionals while fostering a collaborative and positive workplace atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily administrative operations of the office.
- Lead, train, and mentor administrative staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and activities for department heads and teams.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management of office supplies and equipment.
- Prepare budget estimates and manage departmental budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage communication channels, ensuring timely responses to employee inquiries and external correspondence.
- Assist in organizing and executing company events and team-building initiatives.
- Support HR functions including employee onboarding, documentation, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in office management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of office management procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with budget management and procurement.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Permission to work in Malta required
