Big Event Picnic Tables is a family-run business specializing in outdoor furniture and event hire solutions. With a strong foundation and a rapidly growing demand, we’re expanding our presence in Sydney and need a versatile, hands-on Branch Manager to lead this location. As the only full-time staff member, you’ll be the driving force behind the branch, with support from casual staff during peak times. This is a unique opportunity to help us grow and establish our brand in the Sydney market!
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on wearing multiple hats and enjoys the independence of managing day-to-day operations on their own. You’ll handle everything from client relations to inventory, sales, and event logistics, with additional support from casual staff as needed. If you’re a self-starter who loves a challenge, this role offers an exciting chance to make a direct impact on our growth in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, handle inventory, manage logistics, and ensure that all setups are completed to high standards.
Client Relations and Sales: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, actively promote our products and services, and help grow our business in the Sydney area.
Hands-On Setup and Delivery: Roll up your sleeves to handle on-site setups, deliveries, and customer interactions.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute event logistics smoothly, calling in casual staff during peak times to assist as needed.
Branch Growth: Act as the face of our brand in Sydney, taking the initiative to build our presence and reputation in the market.
What We’re Looking For:
Independent Worker: Comfortable managing operations solo, with support from casual staff when needed.
Hands-On and Adaptable: Willing to take on all aspects of the branch operations, from client interactions to physical setup.
Customer-Focused: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide great customer service.
Organized and Efficient: Strong organizational skills to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Experience in Events, Logistics, or Sales is a bonus, but a positive, can-do attitude and adaptability are essential.
