ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced leader to join our Operations team at our branch based in Altona North VIC 3025. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Reporting to the Branch Business Unit Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Provides strong leadership through exceptional organisation skills, setting clear direction, role clarity and performance expectations for approximately 8 staff
- Ensure WHS standards are upheld and managed as per WHS policies
- Oversee all operations including rectification, detailing, inspections and site asset movements
- Manage security, site maintenance and facility management at the branch
- Ensure all KPI's are met in line with asset sales channel and vendors requirements
- Team with management and branch staff to achieve the budgeted profit for the branch
- Participate in Pickles Altona North Leadership team to enhance current services and drive employee engagement and customer NPS scores
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record in operations, ideally with experience in the Auction or Motor Asset industries
- Self-motivated with a hands on, can-do attitude
- Adaptable and flexible in fast paced environments
- Ability to engage and motivate a team with strong people management skills
- Proven customer service skills and NPS experience
- Competent oral and written communication skills
- Competent MS Office skills and the ability to learn our user-friendly auction system
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of WH&S regulations
- Current Manual Drivers Licence (essential)
- Current Forklift Licence (desirable)
