About the role

As an Organisational Resilience Advisor within the Group Risk and Assurance business unit, you’ll play a key role in strengthening ART’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions. Reporting to the Organisational Resilience Manager, you’ll support the delivery of our resilience program and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the business to embed and sustain CPS230 Operational Risk Management requirements. Your work will help ensure ART maintains a robust, adaptive, and compliant resilience capability that protects our members and beneficiaries


Key aspects of the role include:

  • Support the delivery of ART’s organisational resilience strategy to safeguard members and beneficiaries from disruption.
  • Lead and contribute to embedding CPS230 Operational Risk Management and other resilience activities across the organisation.
  • Coordinate business continuity planning, including Business Impact Analysis, plan reviews, and testing for critical operations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure resilience practices remain fit-for-purpose.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining governance documents that underpin organisational resilience.
  • Provide expert advice on risk mitigation aligned with regulatory requirements, Board risk appetite, and industry best practice.
  • Contribute to reporting for Executive, Committee, and Board audiences on business disruption risks and resilience effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enhance disruption and crisis management processes, tools, and preparedness activities.
  • Monitor emerging risks and proactively support ART’s response and recovery efforts.
  • Lead and support resilience testing and exercises in collaboration with key business stakeholders

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational resilience, business continuity and crisis management.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying impacts of change on business process and practices and implementing changes to address these impacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate calmly and effectively in a changing and ambiguous environment e.g. a disruption.
  • A willingness to work flexibly to ensure business needs are met.
  • A can-do, open, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
