Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, spanning from Ingham in the North to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West, and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the positions
MMCNQ are seeking passionate and driven Assistant Coordinators to work at our Outside School Hours Care services in Townsville. You will join a supportive environment and have the opportunity to manage and mentor a team of Educators. Supported by your Coordinator, Business Operations Consultant and other MMCNQ field experts you will help guide the development of the service to meet local needs.
With full time, 38 hours per week, flexible work patterns will be considered to support the operations of the service and applicant requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards) or equivalent (Education Support, studying Bachelor of Education or similar qualifications approved under ACECQA)
- Current Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
- Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework
- Ability to pass a national criminal history check
- Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
- Paid birthday leave day for eligible staff
