About the Role
- Collaborate with the team to develop and deliver a flexible, child-centred program tailored to meet the unique needs of children with additional needs and their families.
- Lead and support staff with training and guidance to ensure the highest standards of inclusive care and support.
- Plan and deliver engaging , play-based activities that encourage learning, exploration, and social development.
- Create a safe, supportive environment where children with additional needs feel valued, included, and empowered.
- Provide ongoing advocacy and support for children’s individual care plans and requirements.
- Receive comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted and compassionate leader within the school and broader TheirCare community.

What You Bring
- Experience in supporting children with additional needs, including training or managing teams in this context.
- Strong understanding of disability support, inclusion practices, and child development.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail in delivering tailored support.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A commitment to TheirCare’s values of Caring, Open, and Engaged.
Compliance Requirements
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain.
- Child Protection Training and Mandatory Reporting knowledge.
- Working towards or holding an ACECQA-approved Diploma level qualification.
