A bit about the role
Join our Parking Compliance team and help keep Casey safe, accessible, and welcoming for all. As a Parking Compliance Officer, you’ll be out and about in the community, patrolling streets, car parks and public spaces, issuing infringements, and helping to educate residents, visitors and traders about safe and lawful parking.
You’ll play a key role in promoting voluntary compliance while building strong relationships and contributing to a positive team culture. Some weekend and evening shifts may apply.
What you’ll deliver
- Monitor and patrol streets, car parks and other public areas to ensure compliance with parking controls. Patrol duties may occur on evenings and weekend shifts. Allowances will apply in keeping with Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Prepare and issue infringement notices for alleged breaches of the Road Safety Act and Regulations and Council Local Laws.
- Whilst on patrol, respond to enquiries and provide information as required.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with local traders and business owners to promote and encourage voluntary compliance with parking control measures.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in regulatory, enforcement or similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and stressful situations.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
