We require a Experienced Medical Receptionist for a part time role at our practice. We are a fully computerised clinic with great GPs and friendly, welcoming staff.
We are located near Angliss Hospital The successful applicants must be friendly, flexible and work well in a team environment.About the role:
- Part time role
- To provide a high quality first point of contact for all patients and customers
- To provide a range of administration and support services to all practitioners and allied services
- Ensure all patients and visitors are received in a friendly, prompt and helpful manner, either face to face or over the phone
- Ensure Medical Practitioner appointment schedules are as per their individual request
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when recording and maintaining patient, clinic and service information
- Maintain confidentially of company operational, personnel and financial details as well as patient privacy
- Managing and triaging the waiting room
- Processing Medicare, DVA and payments
Skills and Experience
- Prior medical reception experience essential
- Strong IT skills to work efficiently in a fully computerised environment (we currently use Best Practice, Pracsoft and MS Office)
- Ability to multi-task and perform appropriately under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communicative skills
- High standard of presentation
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Flexibility in working hours and reliability
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Answer telephone calls, schedule appointments & take enquiries
