A loving family in Goodna, QLD is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their almost 2-year-old child.

Position Details

• 
  Days Hours: 2 days per week (15 hours total)
• Monday Tuesday: 8:30 am 4:00 pm

About the Role

The family is looking for a warm, caring, and responsive nanny who enjoys engaging children in both indoor and outdoor activities that support growth, development, and creativity.

A typical day may include:

• Arriving and settling into playtime, followed by tidying up toys
• Outdoor play in the backyard
• An adventure to the park or a bush walk (using the family s car)
• Returning home for nap time (either transfer or car nap)
• Afternoon play at home

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for the child
• Follow the child s daily routine
• Engage in age-appropriate activities that foster development
• Take the child on walks, to the park, and other outings
• Drive to activities (using family car)
• Light household tasks including tidying, folding laundry, and assisting with meal prep
• Prepare snacks and help with simple dinner preparation

Requirements Expectations

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a nanny or in childcare
• Childcare qualifications preferred
• Strong toddler care experience
• Understanding of respectful parenting and Montessori approaches
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Blue Card
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
• Non-smoker
• Full driver s licence (family car provided, own car preferred for commuting)
• Comfortable with dogs (the family has a Mastiff and a Cattle Dog)
• Bonus: Ability to speak French or Spanish
