YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Patient Services Attendant Level 2
Ongoing, Full Time Role
- 80 Hours per fortnight with ADO
- Parkville Location
- Salary 60K (1.0 EFT) + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
The PSA position works closely with local health professionals and administrative staff to support the patients journey and experience of care by providing a range of patient and environmental support services including;
- Maintaining a high standard of cleaning and housekeeping to support infection control and patient comfort
- Transporting patients and/or equipment between departments in a timely manner
- Maintaining the clinical environment by replenishing stock , changing bed linen, disposing of waste, putting new stock away
- General ward support including errand running, fetch and carry, tidying up equipment to ensure items are put back where they should be
- Assisting relevant health professionals to monitor patient welfare and comfort in patient bed rooms, lounges and waiting rooms
