About the role
The Performance & Compliance Specialist supports AMES Australia's compliance with Employment contracts by independently assessing and reporting on contractual obligations, collaborating with staff and partners to meet requirements, applying an operational lens to drive improvements, and upskilling Service Delivery Managers to enhance their understanding of compliance matters.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Diploma in Business or related field; AND/OR
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Employment Services leadership position
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of employment services funding programs and compliance requirements, from an operational perspective
- Strong knowledge and understanding of process development and implementation
- Demonstrated written communication and report writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate qualitative and quantitative data for internal and external audiences
- Ability to supervise daily operations of an effective team
- Demonstrated ability to generate and review analytics to identify trends, emerging issues and forecast issues
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of compliance and quality principles
- Advanced computer skills and the ability to learn and train others in the use of Information Systems
- Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability, teamwork and professionalism and demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement principles
