About the role
We are seeking an energetic and capable Personal Assistant/Office Manager looking for a job with purpose. Odyssey House NSW is one of the leading not-for-profit alcohol and other drug rehabilitation organisations in Australia. Bring your skills, experience and compassion to support the CEO and Odyssey House team and help us reconnect lives, families, communities and cultures.
In this role you will enjoy being part of a large and complex organisation while working in its small friendly office, close to Redfern station.
The salary for this role is between $78k-$83k per year + super, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
This is an office based role working predominantly from our Head Office at Redfern.
Support the CEO with strong organisational and administrative skills, including diary management, booking travel and supporting meetings.
Support other members of the Executive team as required.
Provide administrative support to the Board Chair as required and work with the Company Secretary to ensure all Board documentation is prepared and distributed.
Manage and coordinate daily functions of the head office in Redfern, including overseeing general maintenance of the office.
Skills and Experiences:
Skills/Selection Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Administration or other relevant roles.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills including PowerPoint is essential
- Strong secretarial/administrative skills and knowledge, with excellent attention to detail
- An ability to communicate clearly and concisely and vary communication styles depending upon the audience
- Strong time management skills to accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given
- Willing to work as a team and support others as required
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, verbal and face to face
- Certificate in administration will be highly regarded.
