Epworth HealthCare (Epworth) seeks casual Personal Care Associate's to join our high performing and highly valued Central Resource Unit (CRU).
The CRU provides a flexible workforce to support Epworth clinical units. With a choice of sites and specialities available, you will work with clinical nurses to deliver great patient centred care outcomes.
With the support of a dedicated CRU educator, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills across a variety of sites and clinical settings across Epworth Health.
Primarily at this stage, we are only seeking candidates who can work at Epworth Geelong. Please note in your application if you can work across other Epworth sites.
You will make an impact by:
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience

Providing high standards of care through common responsibilities such as but not limited to;
- Pressure care
- Assisting with ambulating patients
- Assist patients with personal care and hygiene as directed
- Bed making
- Constant Patient Observation - CPO
- Encouraging and role-modelling empathy to patients, families and medical staff
To be successful in this role, you will…
- Have previous experience working in a clinical setting, ideally within a hospital
- Have Permanent residency or Australian citizenship
- Have excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Be teachable and have a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Enjoy the challenge of working flexibly within a team environment.
- Possess a strong understanding and background of patient-centred care
- Have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Have well-developed time management and prioritisation skills
