Introduction:
Civeo Australia is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Workforce Planner to support our dynamic operations team. As a key enabler of our workforce strategy, you’ll be responsible for aligning people, processes, and planning to optimise performance across our villages. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operations leadership to align workforce planning with business strategy and site needs.
- Support workforce planning across forecasting, scheduling, rostering, mobilisation, and real-time optimisation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (HR, IT, Finance, HSE, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop tailored workforce optimisation strategies for each village to boost efficiency and labour cost control.
- Use workforce management systems to streamline planning processes and analyse performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on operational data and trend analysis.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements and rostering conditions, and maintain qualification and induction records. Assist with labour modelling and “what-if” analysis to support operational and financial planning.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Technology or Law.Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in workforce/resource planning, rostering, or logistics within hospitality or village accommodation environments.
- Strong understanding of workforce operating models and planning methodologies.
- Solid experience in JD Edwards comprehensive ERP solution in streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
- Proven ability to optimise complex operations while balancing client needs and internal resource constraints.
- Solid working knowledge in process analysis and process mining activities to implement and embed industry best practice.
- Solid grasp of business operations and best practice frameworks for workforce management. Demonstrated experience reporting on workforce planning Key Performance Indicators.
Skills:
- Analytical thinker with advanced MS Office suite skills including Excel.
- JDE (JD Edwards) enterprise resource planning software suite (Oracle).
- Kronos Time and Attendance platform with integrated workforce management tools.
- Strong communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver.
- Highly organised and capable of prioritising in a dynamic environment. Proficient in the use of digital systems and programs for analysis, reporting and management
