We have a unique opportunity for a talented PMO Analyst to join our Mercer Super team at Mercer. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

PMO Analyst

Reporting to the Mercer Super Portfolio Leader, you will be managing all aspects of project data for the Mercer Super project portfolio, all associated project tools and templates, reporting individual project status information, pipeline planning data, risk registers, learnings and project financial data.

We will count on you to:

  • Coordinate and complete projects, including the establishment of project plans, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with business users.
  • Develop project budgets, and manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Allocate the duties of the project teams to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to schedule.
  • Review regular progress reports from the team and thereafter submit to leadership.
  • Facilitate and lead decision-making processes required to move projects along to completion, and make steady and agreed upon progress on assigned programs/projects.
  • Develop, enhance, and monitor project management methodologies, ensuring that a streamlined process exists, and provide evidence that all projects are implemented and successfully delivered to meet standards and requirements.


What you need to have:

  • Several years’ experience as a Project/Program Coordinator or PMO Analyst
  • Strong skills in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Finance tools ie. SAP, Clarity, BCPM, Hanna, etc
  • Experience with monthly forecasting - MS Planner/ MS Project
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of PPM to make dashboards and reports for the portfolio & program.
