Your Role:
- Support Individuals by improving their quality of life by implementing Behaviour Support Plans that reduce the need for restrictive practices, keep them safe and enable them to live a safe and ordinary life.
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that align with the NDIS Participants goals.
- Collaborate with Participants, Families, Multi-Disciplinary Teams and other stakeholders to provide consistency in support.
- Educate and support other stakeholders in implementing Behaviour Support plans.
- Deliver these services aligning with Quality and Safeguarding framework
- Evaluate and adjust strategies for effectiveness.
- Compliance and adherence with NDIS Guidelines.
- Meeting Billable KPIs while upholding Clinical Integrity
Essential Criteria:
- Strong understanding of Behaviour Support responsibilities
- High-Level English Proficiency
- Clinical Expertise in psychosocial disorders and NDIS guidelines
- Empathy & Support for client communication and compassion
- Innovative Problem-Solving and evidence-based strategies
- Collaboration & Communication skills
- Credibility & Service delivery with integrity
- Personal Attributes: Team player, work ethic, continuous improvement, and creative problem-solving
- NDIS Suitability Letter indicating suitability as a NDIS registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Support Work or Education (Imperative)
- Minimum 1 year experience in Behavioural Support (highly desirable)
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and relevant checks (WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid, CPR and completion of NDIS Modules)
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
Conditions of Employment:
This role involves direct support to people with disabilities, requiring NDIS Worker Screening clearance or an acceptable check.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $88,000.00 – $92,000.00 per year
