About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy general practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of experience in medical administration or practice management, looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Manage staff rostering, training, and performance
- Ensure compliance with Medicare and accreditation standards
- Monitor billing, reporting, and financial processes
- Support doctors and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care
- Liaise with patients and handle escalated inquiries professionally
Skills and Requirements
✅ Experience in a medical practice management or senior administrative role
✅ Proficiency in Best Practice clinical software
✅ Knowledge and use of PRODA systems (e.g., Medicare claiming, HPOS)
✅ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
