About the position

We are seeking three highly motivated, efficient and experienced professionals to join our vibrant and dynamic committee office as Principal Council Officers (Clerk 9/10). As inquiry managers, Principal Council Officers are responsible for a committee inquiry. This typically involves working with a small team to organise committee meetings, review submissions, arrange hearings and site visits and provide advice to members of parliament. They also draft reports to an excellent written standard, based on the evidence gathered by a committee, that stand up to scrutiny from members of parliament, government agencies and inquiry stakeholders.
