Join Our Environmental Planning & Approvals Team – Perth
We’re looking for a Principal Environmental Assessment & Approvals Consultant to lead and deliver complex environmental approval strategies across WA and beyond. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of our high-performing team and guiding clients through ever-changing regulatory environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading environmental impact assessments and approvals for major projects
- Developing strategy across EP Act, EPBC Act, and bilateral approvals
- Managing stakeholder engagement and regulator liaison
- Preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports and submissions
- Guiding clients through environmental constraints, risks and approvals pathways
- Mentoring and developing junior staff
- Contributing to strategic growth and project wins
What You’ll Need
- Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or similar discipline
- 10+ years' experience in environmental impact assessment and approvals
- Deep knowledge of WA and Commonwealth legislation (EP Act, EPBC Act, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence at a senior level
- Desire to build a thriving team and shape strategy in a growing consultancy
