You will provide high quality advice in relation to the sustainable development and growth of the First Nations health workforce to enable the delivery of culturally safe health care to First Nations' communities. You will engage and undertake projects to monitor the First Nations health workforce and measure the impact of workforce reforms. Furthermore, you will engage with key internal and external stakeholders on issues of policy, standards and workforce strategy that impact the First Nations health workforce.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
High level strategic, conceptual and analytical skills relevant to the First Nations health workforce, with the demonstrated ability to provide culturally, aware high-level, accurate, and timely advice on complex issues.
High level verbal communication skills and achievements in cultivating productive working relationships, partnerships and teamwork, negotiating outcomes and effectively representing the interests of the Department in dealings with stakeholders.
High level written communication skills, including ability to compile complex policy-related reports, discussion papers and submissions.
High level skills, knowledge and ability to support the implementation of strategic First Nations health workforce initiatives within a complex service delivery environment.
Ability to manage projects, undertake research, interpret trends and provide detailed interpretation and analysis of reports, discussion papers and other documentation and to provide advice on policies and strategies.
