About the role
This opportunity is a casual role, working up to 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday across multiple shifts, including early morning and afternoon shifts at our egg grading facility in Hallam. Occasional overtime during weekends and public holidays.
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will collaborate as part of a team to carry out the following responsibilities:
Perform pre-operative checks and equipment setup to ensure production timelines run to schedule.
Prepare, load, grade, and pack eggs, replenish packaging per work instructions
Prepare, label, and stack finished boxes
Machine operation and troubleshooting
Perform on-line Quality checks
Cleaning and basic maintenance of machines, equipment, and factory
Assist in other areas of the facility when required
Skills and Experiences: To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience with process work in the food industry, FMCG background preferred
Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Ability to safely follow all work instructions
Unrestricted work right with one year and above before expiry
Good verbal communication and reliable transport for commute
Ability to lift 12-15kg and work in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and willingness to learn new things
Forklift Licence (Desired)
