Job Description
Join our Publishing team as a Product Manager and play a critical role in shaping and delivering the product roadmap for our editorial platforms. You'll collaborate with UX, design, engineering, newsrooms and business teams to ensure prioritised initiatives meet key business and consumer objectives.
Our team drives product design and management for leading audience-facing brands like The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, Australian Financial Review, Good Food, nine.com.au, and 9news.com.au. We also manage the platforms that enable the authoring, curation and distribution of our journalism.

What you’ll do:
Develop and execute product plans that align with business objectives and user needs.
Define and prioritise features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility and user feedback.
Collaborate closely with designers, engineers and content creators to ensure successful product delivery.
Collaborate with developers, ensuring features are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Communicate product plans, progress and results to stakeholders, building strong cross-functional relationships.
Conduct market research, benchmarking and competitor analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
Analyse user feedback and audience data to identify opportunities for product improvements.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a product role.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Interest in or experience with publishing and journalism is an asset.
