About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Production Controller to join the team at Osborne SA. Reporting to the Production Control Team Lead, the Production Controller is responsible for providing day to day support to their allocated Team Leads. The role is to liaise between other allied departments (Planning, Supply, Scheduling, Engineering, and Quality) as required, ensuring that all Work Packs and materials are processed “Right First Time” and in a timely manner allowing the Team Lead to dedicate most of their time to direct supervision of the Production work force.
Responsibilities
- Pre vetting of work packs prior to scheduled start date.
- Arrange the accurate picking of materials in line with project schedules and work pack start dates.
- Audit work packs upon completion of tasks and close out both unused materials and completed work packs.
- Accurate data entry and maintaining suitable levels of data integrity in a ERP System.
- Drive process improvement initiatives whilst working with structured processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated research skills as well as sound organisational skills.
- Work in a team environment with limited supervision and be able to work under pressure dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously.
About you
- Experience in a Production or Stores (Supply) based environment.
- Exposure to one or more of the following disciplines (Production, Production Control, Planning, Materials Control, Scheduling, Estimating, Supply / Contract Administration, Warehousing). Defence Industry experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in the use of an ERP system (e.g.: SAP/Control/IFS).
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, coupled with accurate data entry.
- Demonstrated experience in working with structured processes and procedures.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision and deliver whilst working under pressure dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
